Yoga with Liz
This is a 75 min flowing Hatha yoga practice, where the asanas are held for several breaths and the transition to the next position is done with mindful intent. The six classes will cover the foundational poses of six key movements of the body; Standing poses, Forward bends, Back bends, Shoulder opening, Hip opening and Twists.
Breath awareness and alignment play a big part in the classes as this will support you in slowing down, listening to your body, and also gaining courage to step outside of your comfort zone, to strengthen the body, increase flexibility and help your balance.
We will always finish with a sweet Shavasana relaxation. The class is taught in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment. Please bring a yoga mat and 2 yoga blocks if you have them.
Remember: You don’t have to be flexible to start yoga! The practice of yoga is more about health and well-being. You just happen to get fit and flexible in the process!
